FG C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme 2026: Get FG’s Laptops, Smartphones & Tablets Loan

Admin, July 22, 2026July 22, 2026

Introduction

Applications are now open for the Federal Government C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme 2026, and it could be your gateway to owning a laptop, smartphone, or tablet without upfront payment.

C.L.I.C.K.D. stands for Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices. It’s a new consumer credit scheme launched by the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP) in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

In a digital economy, access to devices should not be a barrier. This initiative is designed to improve digital access for Nigerians, support locally assembled devices, and help students, workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs get the tools they need to learn, work, and build.

If you’ve been waiting for affordable access to tech, this is it.

About the FG C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme

The C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme is part of the Federal Government’s push to close Nigeria’s digital divide and grow the consumer credit market.

Who is behind it?

CREDICORP, working with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. The goal is to provide affordable financing for digital devices while boosting demand for locally assembled products.

Why it matters:

Millions of Nigerians struggle to afford laptops and smartphones needed for remote work, online learning, and business. This scheme offers devices through credit, making it possible to pay over time instead of all at once.

The pilot is starting with participants in key digital skills programs, with plans to expand to more Nigerians.

Benefits: What You Get Through C.L.I.C.K.D.

Successful applicants will get access to:
Laptops for learning, work, and business
Smartphones for connectivity and productivity
Tablets for education and content creation
Flexible consumer credit to pay for devices over time instead of upfront
Support for locally assembled devices, helping grow Nigeria’s tech manufacturing
Access tied to digital skills training, so you can immediately use the device to upskill and earn

Note: This is a loan, not a grant. Repayment terms will be provided during application.

Be clear about your device purpose
Don’t just select “learning.” Explain how the laptop will help you get a job, build a business, or complete a certification.
Provide accurate employment/income info
Even if monthly income is optional, it helps CREDICORP assess your repayment capacity.
Use a consistent phone number and email
This is what CREDICORP will use for verification and device delivery.
Apply early
As a pilot, slots may be limited. Early applicants in 3MTT have the highest chance.

Conclusion: Own the Tools to Build Your Future

The FG C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme 2026 is more than device distribution. It’s about giving Nigerians the credit access needed to participate fully in the digital economy.

Whether you’re a student learning to code, a freelancer taking remote jobs, or a business owner expanding online, having the right device is the first step.

If you meet the 6 requirements, don’t wait. Enroll in a digital skills program, gather your details, and apply.
