The African Union CIEFFA, in partnership with ImpactHER, has officially opened applications for the 2026 Online Capacity Building Training. This is your golden ticket to gaining the skills needed to thrive in the modern economy while contributing to the transformation of the African continent.

About the Program

This year’s training is themed: “AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.”

Designed for citizens of all 55 African Union Member States and the Diaspora, this initiative focuses on empowering young people—both women and men—to become leaders in their communities. The program tackles the critical issue of gender disparity head-on, ensuring that women and girls have equal access to the tools required to succeed in a digital world.

Eligibility Criteria

This program is inclusive but selective. To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

· Open to African women and men (including the diaspora).
· Demonstrate a strong interest in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and finance.
· Possess strong motivation and leadership potential.
· Have access to the internet and a digital device (smartphone, laptop, or tablet).
· Have a working understanding of English, French, or Portuguese.

Training Structure

To ensure focused learning, the program will be structured as follows:

  • Participants will be grouped into cohorts (batches).
  • Duration: Each batch runs for 1 month, starting on August 31, 2026.
  • Attendance: You must attend at least 80% of sessions to qualify for your certificates.
