Admin, June 24, 2026June 24, 2026

Application Deadline: Ongoing

Social entrepreneurs tackling some of the world’s most pressing health and sanitation challenges now have an exciting opportunity to accelerate their impact. Applications are currently open for the Reckitt Catalyst Accelerator Program 2026–2027, a global initiative designed to support innovative ventures working to improve access to healthcare, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

As communities across Africa, Asia, and other emerging markets continue to face significant healthcare and sanitation gaps, innovative solutions are increasingly needed to bridge these challenges. From affordable healthcare technologies to clean water initiatives and disease prevention tools, entrepreneurs are playing a vital role in creating sustainable change.

The Reckitt Catalyst Accelerator Program offers more than just funding. It provides selected founders with access to world-class mentorship, practical business training, strategic guidance, and a network of experts dedicated to helping impact-driven ventures scale successfully.

Implemented by Reckitt in partnership with Yunus Social Innovation (YSI) and Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx), the accelerator is particularly committed to supporting women founders and entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities who are developing solutions that improve health outcomes and access to WASH services.

About the Reckitt Catalyst Accelerator Program

The Reckitt Catalyst Accelerator Program is part of Reckitt’s broader commitment to creating healthier communities and improving access to essential health and hygiene services worldwide.

The accelerator focuses on supporting social enterprises and innovative organizations that address challenges in:

Through this accelerator, entrepreneurs receive the tools and guidance needed to strengthen their business models, increase their impact, and become investment-ready.

Selected participants will join a virtual accelerator program running from October 2026 through April 2027, allowing entrepreneurs to participate regardless of location.

Why This Opportunity Matters for African Innovators

Across Africa, millions of people still face challenges related to healthcare access, sanitation infrastructure, clean water availability, and hygiene education.

Innovators throughout Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and other African countries are increasingly developing local solutions to address these issues. However, many promising ventures struggle to secure the mentorship, technical expertise, and funding needed to scale their impact.

The Reckitt Catalyst Accelerator Program helps bridge this gap by connecting entrepreneurs with global experts, business development resources, and potential financial support.

For African founders, this represents an opportunity not only to strengthen their organizations but also to gain international visibility and build relationships with partners who can support long-term growth.
