Key Responsibilities of the Field Coordinator As the Field Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing NRC’s field office operations and ensuring the effective implementation of humanitarian programs. Your primary duties include: Managing support functions: Oversee HR, administration, finance, and logistics at the field office level. Ensuring policy compliance: Implement NRC’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Security & risk management: Ensure safety measures are in place and adhered to. Stakeholder coordination: Engage with partners, government authorities, and the UN for project collaboration. Budget oversight: Manage budgets and financial operations at the field office. Project support: Assist in program execution, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Staff training & supervision: Mentor and support the professional growth of team members. What You Need to Succeed To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, project management, and financial oversight skills. The ideal candidate should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Project Planning, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field (a Master’s degree is an added advantage). At least five years of experience in humanitarian or development work, preferably in refugee response. Expertise in financial management, human resources, and logistics. Previous experience in complex and volatile environments. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). A valid driver’s license.
