Scale Accelerator 2026: Fully Funded Training for Organisations Preventing Childhood Sexual Violence Admin, August 31, 2026August 31, 2026 Application Deadline:September 31, 2026 Applications are open for the Scale Accelerator: Preventing Childhood Sexual Violence, a fully funded six-month training and coaching programme for mission-driven organisations working to prevent childhood sexual violence. The programme is particularly relevant to organisations in Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America that have already developed solutions and now need support to reach more children, families and communities sustainably. For African NGOs and civil society organisations, scaling an effective programme can be challenging because of limited funding, complex systems, cultural barriers and the need to maintain programme quality as reach increases. This programme is designed to help leaders navigate those challenges strategically. Delivered by Spring Impact with support from the Oak Foundation, the initiative combines practical training, expert coaching and peer learning to help organisations turn proven solutions into sustainable strategies for greater impact. About the Scale Accelerator Programme The Leaders of Scale route is part of Spring Impact’s international Scale Accelerator. It focuses on helping organisations move beyond simply growing their operations to achieving sustainable impact at scale. Participants will learn how to assess their readiness for scale, develop a context-specific strategy, identify appropriate partners and create sustainable funding and delivery models. The programme recognises that scaling a child-protection intervention is not simply about reaching more beneficiaries. Organisations must also consider safeguarding, quality, partnerships, evidence, financing and the systems that influence children’s safety. The six-month programme includes online learning sessions, action-learning activities, peer exchange and approximately eight one-on-one coaching sessions with a dedicated scaling expert. What Participants Will Learn The training covers areas including: Getting the organisation ready for scale Developing a practical scale strategy Designing an effective scale model Identifying and working with the right partners Developing sustainable funding approaches Creating an actionable implementation plan Preparing pitches for funders and strategic partners Protecting programme quality while expanding reach Benefits of the Programme Selected organisations can benefit from: Fully funded participation with no programme fee. Six months of structured training and strategic learning. One-on-one coaching from experienced scale consultants. Peer learning with other mission-driven organisations. A funded in-person residential opportunity for a scale lead. Practical tools and frameworks that can be applied within the organisation. Expert support for financial modelling and scaling decisions. Access to a wider community of peers and alumni after the programme. Potential pathways to additional expert consultancy support. Who Can Apply? The opportunity is designed for mission-driven organisations, including NGOs, CSOs and social enterprises, that: Operate in Africa, Europe, North America or Latin America. Have a proven solution, programme, intervention or service aimed at preventing childhood sexual violence. Have at least two years of experience delivering the solution. Can demonstrate evidence that their approach is making a difference. Have genuine organisational ambitions to scale their impact. Can commit two senior leaders to the six-month online programme. Have the leadership capacity to apply the learning within the organisation. Prevention can include approaches such as school-based education, parent training, community mobilisation, challenging harmful gender norms, online child-safety initiatives and interventions designed to prevent peer victimisation. How to Apply and Key Dates Interested organisations should review the eligibility requirements carefully before submitting an application. Application deadline: September 30, 2026 Programme start: November 2026 Format: Primarily online Cost: Fully funded Applications should demonstrate not only that the organisation has an important mission, but also that its solution has evidence behind it and realistic potential for sustainable expansion. Application: Apply through Spring Impact Why You Should Apply This is more than a conventional training programme. It is particularly valuable for organisations that have already tested an intervention and are asking, “How can we reach many more people without compromising quality or sustainability?” Before applying, organisations should gather evidence demonstrating what their programme has achieved. This could include monitoring data, evaluation findings, participant outcomes, case studies, testimonials and evidence showing how the intervention has been refined over time. Applicants should also clearly explain why scale is necessary now. Rather than simply stating that the organisation wants to reach more people, show the size of the problem, the gap in existing services and how expanding the solution could address that gap. Finally, identify the senior leaders who will participate and ensure they have enough time to engage meaningfully. Strong internal commitment will make it easier to translate the programme’s lessons into organisational change. Conclusion The Scale Accelerator offers a valuable opportunity for organisations working to prevent childhood sexual violence to strengthen their leadership, strategy and capacity for sustainable growth. For African NGOs and social enterprises with a proven solution and ambitions to expand their impact, this programme could provide the expertise, tools and connections needed to move from a successful local intervention to a model capable of reaching many more children and communities.
