The Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit (I ACT) initiative, a collaborative effort between the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), is actively seeking passionate young leaders worldwide to become peer educators. This program aims to empower youth to raise awareness about climate change, renewable energy, and sustainable development within their communities.​

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Group: Young leaders committed to climate action.
• Geographical Scope: Open to applicants from all countries.​
• Educational Background: No specific requirements; enthusiasm for environmental issues is key.​

Program Details

• Training: Selected peer educators will participate in virtual training sessions conducted by IRENA experts in May 2025.​
• Toolkit Access: Participants will receive comprehensive materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, and engagement activities, to conduct workshops.​
• Local Collaboration: Where feasible, educators will partner with local entities, such as Italian Embassies, to deliver in-person youth training sessions.​

Application Process

• Submission: Complete the online application form by March 21, 2025.​
• Selection Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on responses, with consideration for gender and geographic balance.​
