With over 1,400 active ambassadors worldwide, the program is instrumental in promoting STEM learning, sharing best practices, and enhancing knowledge exchange in education.

Ambassador Responsibilities

As a Scientix Ambassador, you will play a key role in promoting STEM education through various activities, including:

  1. STEM Advocacy & Dissemination
    • Promote Scientix and STEM education via social media, webinars, conferences, articles, and training sessions.
    • Share best practices and educational resources within your national, regional, or local networks.
  2. STEM Education Enhancement
    • Support other educators in improving STEM teaching through knowledge exchange and collaboration.
    • Participate in STEM education campaigns and initiatives.
  3. Community Engagement & Contributions
    • Engage in the Scientix Teachers’ Support Initiative by reviewing educational materials, designing lesson plans, and moderating forums.
    • Contribute to the annual STEM Discovery Campaign by submitting at least one STEM-related activity.

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is open to active or retired educators from any country, including teachers, researchers, and education professionals in both formal and non-formal settings from anywhere in the world.

How to Apply

To qualify, applicants must:

  1. Register on the Scientix Portal and obtain EUN ID credentials.
  2. Create an account on the Scientix Community Tool to demonstrate commitment to STEM education.
  3. Successfully complete at least one Scientix MOOC from the approved list, such as:
    • Exploring Nature-Based Solutions (January 13 – February 19, 2025)
    • EmpowerED Educators for EdTech Co-Design (February 10 – March 19, 2025)
    • Soil Education: An Integrated STEM Approach (March 3 – April 9, 2025)
  4. Register at least one STEM activity on the STEM Discovery Campaign 2025 Map.
  5. Submit the online application form before April 30, 2025 (23:59 CET).
  6. Await approval from the Ministry of Education in your respective country (this step is handled by European Schoolnet).
  7. Successfully complete the Scientix Ambassadors Training Course (SATC), which runs for three weeks in May 2025.
