Applications are Open for the Deloitte Academy Cyber Security Programme 2025 for Young Nigerian Graduates

Deloitte Nigeria is now accepting applications for the 2025 Deloitte Academy Cyber Security Programme, a transformative initiative designed to equip young Nigerian graduates with essential skills in cybersecurity and information technology.

This 12-month intensive training program offers participants the opportunity to gain cutting-edge knowledge in cybersecurity, preparing them to tackle modern and emerging digital threats. Deloitte’s mission is to nurture a new generation of tech-savvy professionals ready to thrive in today’s fast-paced digital world.

About the Programme

The Cyber Security Programme is part of Deloitte’s broader effort to develop talents in Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation. This initiative is not an employment scheme but a skill development opportunity that empowers graduates to build competence in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.

Participants will learn from top industry experts while gaining hands-on experience that bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. High-performing candidates may also earn the chance to secure internship placements or be added to Deloitte’s Cyber Security talent pool for future projects.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Deloitte Cyber Security Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with at least a Second Class Upper Division.
  • Minimum of five credits in WASSCE/NECO (including Mathematics and English) obtained in one sitting.
  • Must be 28 years old or younger as of the application date.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, including operating systems, application development, networking, and databases.
  • Possessing cybersecurity-related certifications is an added advantage.

Additional knowledge in any of the following areas is also beneficial:

  • Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Security standards implementation
  • Incident response and investigation
  • Email and network security monitoring
  • Deployment or management of security tools like SIEM, NAC, DAM, WAF, NGFW, UTM
