The Presidential African Youth in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Competition is back for its second edition, offering young African innovators a platform to showcase their talents in AI, robotics, and emerging technologies. More than just a competition, this initiative is shaping Africa’s future in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) by driving innovation, economic growth, and digital transformation.

Organized by Ele-vate AI Africa, in collaboration with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the Government of South Africa, the 2025 competition aims to bridge skill gaps, create opportunities, and position Africa as a global leader in AI and robotics.

This competition is more than an event—it’s a catalyst for industrialization, job creation, and technological progress. Who Can Participate?

• Open to African youth aged 15 to 35.
• Participants can enter as individuals or teams.

Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be judged based on:

• Functionality – Can the solution be effectively applied?
• Impact – How does it benefit Africa?

All judges’ decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
