The Moving Minds Alliance (MMA) is has announced its Research Fellowship Program, a groundbreaking initiative supporting local researchers in the Global South. This program empowers scholars to conduct impactful studies focusing on young children (ages 0-8) and their caregivers in emergency contexts. By fostering collaboration within a global research community, this fellowship aims to amplify innovative solutions and drive systemic change through the dissemination of research findings across the MMA Network and the Research Forum on Young Children in Emergencies.
Fellowship Theme
For the 2025-26 cohort, the program invites research proposals centered on Early Childhood Development in Climate Emergencies. This theme underscores the urgency of addressing the unique challenges young children and their caregivers face in the wake of climate-related disasters.
Fellowship Benefits
Selected fellows will enjoy the following benefits:
- One-time stipend: US $5,000 to support research activities.
- Global community engagement: Opportunities to collaborate within a global community of practice.
- Knowledge sharing: Present findings through webinars, events, and the MMA Research Forum.
Fellowship Expectations
Fellows will undertake the following commitments:
- Conduct research over a 12-month period.
- Share findings with the MMA Research Forum and other platforms.
- Submit a comprehensive final report or publication detailing their research outcomes.
