Admin, December 6, 2025December 6, 2025

Applications Deadline: January 10, 2026

Africa’s innovation ecosystem is evolving faster than ever — and the Timbuktoo Pan-African Incubator Network is at the heart of this transformation.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through its flagship Timbuktoo Innovation Initiative, is building a powerful network of incubators and accelerators that will drive entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable growth across the continent.

Timbuktoo aims to mobilize $1 billion in capital, support 10,000 startups, and scale over 1,000 high-potential ventures within the next decade. If your incubator or accelerator is ready to expand its reach, amplify impact, and collaborate with leading organizations across Africa — this opportunity is for you.

Why Join the Timbuktoo Pan-African Incubator Network?

Joining the Timbuktoo Network connects your incubator to a continent-wide community of innovators, mentors, investors, and ecosystem builders. As a network partner, you’ll access tools, training, and funding opportunities designed to help you grow stronger programs and empower more entrepreneurs.

1. Pan-African Visibility & Collaboration

Gain exposure across Africa and beyond by joining a prestigious network of innovation Hubs and incubators. Partnering with Timbuktoo positions your organization at the center of the continent’s innovation movement and opens doors to global collaborations.

2. Capacity Building & Global Best Practices

Learn from global experts through continuous workshops, webinars, and peer-learning sessions. Members access practical training on program design, startup evaluation, and incubation models to boost efficiency and outcomes.

3. Access to Mentors, Resources & Community

Through Timbuktoo’s digital platform, members gain access to a vibrant community of mentors, experts, and fellow incubators. Manage cohorts, track KPIs, and access case studies, templates, and data dashboards — all in one integrated space.

4. Partner with Thematic Hubs

Collaborate with Timbuktoo’s specialized Hubs across key sectors such as health, fintech, agriculture, education, climate innovation, manufacturing, and creative industries. This ensures your startups receive expert guidance, sector-specific mentorship, and pathways to advanced programs.

5. Streamlined Digital Platform

The Timbuktoo platform enables seamless management of your incubation activities — from cohort tracking to mentor coordination. Simplify operations, measure impact, and focus on scaling what matters most: your startups.

6. Enhanced Funding Opportunities

Being part of the Timbuktoo Network connects your incubator with UNDP’s global partners, investors, and donors. This access strengthens your funding pipeline and creates opportunities for financial growth — for both your startups and your organization.
