HSC Youth Ambassador Program 2027: Fully Funded, Apply Now Admin, October 10, 2026October 10, 2026 Application Deadline: October 19, 2026 Applications are now open for the HSC Youth Ambassador Program 2027, a fully funded opportunity for young sustainability leaders from the Global South. Selected Ambassadors will join the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) on May 31 to June 1, 2027. The program places young people at the centre of global sustainability talks. Ambassadors help shape conference formats, speak or attend sessions, and connect with more than 1,600 leaders, including heads of state and government. For young Africans driving climate, energy, food or health solutions in their communities, this is a rare chance to bring local experience to a global stage. The deadline is October 19, 2026, so there is little time to prepare. About the HSC Youth Ambassador Program The Hamburg Sustainability Conference brings together leaders from government, business and civil society. Its focus is mobilising the private sector and partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Youth Ambassador Program makes sure young voices are part of that conversation. Ambassadors engage with the conference, its themes and each other early in the lead-up, helping bring the HSC to life. Roundtable Series Before the conference, the program plans a Youth Roundtable Series in one of its partner countries during December 7 to 11, 2026. Ambassadors must be available to travel then. More details will be shared during selection. Benefits of the Program Fully funded participation: Travel and accommodation costs are covered. Why You Should Apply: Tips for a Strong Application Competition for fully funded international programs is high. These tips can help: Lead with results. Describe what you did, the impact you made and who you reached. Be specific and concise. The word limits are tight, so avoid vague claims. Match the theme. Choose themes that reflect your real work, not the most popular ones. Prepare a private sector example. Pick a local case where business, government or civil society worked together, and explain why it worked. Show your reach. Add links to social media, websites or broadcasts that showcase your work. Check your availability. Confirm you can travel in December and attend the conference. Don’t be put off by limited experience. Past conference participation is not required. Conclusion The HSC Youth Ambassador Program offers funding, visibility and direct access to global decision-makers. If you are a young sustainability leader from the Global South, your community work deserves that platform.
