Fully Funded CrossCulture Programme (CCP) Fellowships 2026 – Germany:Apply Now

Admin, November 25, 2025November 25, 2025

Application Deadline: December 10, 2025

Applications are now open for the CrossCulture Programme (CCP) Fellowships 2026, an exceptional fully funded opportunity for professionals and volunteers who are passionate about civil society engagement. Each year, the CCP Fellowship connects around 60 emerging and mid-career changemakers from over 40 countries with host organisations in Germany and partner nations. The programme, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by the Institute for Foreign Relations (ifa), promotes intercultural dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

About the Fellowship

The CCP Fellowship supports professionals dedicated to creating social impact through their work in civil society organisations. Fellows spend two to three months working with a host organisation in Germany or one of the CCP partner countries. During this time, they gain valuable professional experience, exchange expertise, and enhance their intercultural skills.

The programme promotes mutual learning: fellows bring their local and regional insights to the host organisation while acquiring new perspectives on international and German practices. In addition to their placements, fellows participate in workshops, networking events, and thematic conferences, building lasting professional relationships across borders.

The 2026 cohort will be held primarily in person, with the possibility of remote participation under special circumstances.

Fellowship Focus Areas

For 2026, the programme will support fellows in the following thematic areas:

  • Policy and Society
  • Media and Culture
  • Human Rights and Peace
  • Sustainable Development and Climate Justice

In addition, two new focus topics have been introduced for this cycle:

  • Democratic Resilience
  • Culture of Remembrance

These themes reflect the programme’s commitment to fostering collaboration on pressing global challenges and strengthening civil societies worldwide.

Fellowship Benefits

Selected fellows will receive comprehensive financial and professional support to ensure a rewarding and impactful experience.

For participants hosted in Germany:

  • Monthly stipend of €650
  • Coverage of travel costs, accommodation, and local public transport
  • Health insurance coverage
