The Role
At Global Rights Compliance, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Programme Officer to support our mission in advancing international human rights law. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing, coordinating, and managing our various programmes. Here’s what you can expect as a Programme Officer at GRC:
- Implementation & Coordination: Assist in executing programme activities and ensure smooth operations by coordinating with different teams and stakeholders.
- Project Development: Contribute to the development of project plans, objectives, and timelines while monitoring progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Performance Tracking: Keep track of key performance indicators to evaluate programme outcomes effectively.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records by managing project files, documentation of meetings, decisions, action items, as well as preparing regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Oversight: Support budget tracking by monitoring expenses and assisting with financial reporting alongside collaborating with finance, human resources, and procurement teams for efficient resource allocation.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform essential monthly administrative duties such as checking invoices and timesheets while providing necessary approvals.
- Event Coordination: Help organise meetings, workshops, or any other events related to programme activities.
Your Background
To be successful in this Programme Officer at Global Rights Complianceat role :
- You should have 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management or business administration.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within our team and with external partners.
- Experience working within a post-Soviet legal system is desirable but not mandatory. Practical experience related to rule-of-law initiatives will also be considered an asset.
- Strong organisational skills coupled with excellent time management abilities will help you manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritising deadlines effectively.
Additionally:
- Discretion is paramount; you must handle confidential information professionally.
- Attention to detail is crucial; your drafting skills should be exceptional—English proficiency is required. Knowledge of Ukrainian will be advantageous along with oral fluency if applicable.
