Enumerators Needed for Vaccine Wastage Rate Study in Nigeria

We are currently recruiting Enumerators Needed for Vaccine Wastage Rate Study data collection exercise across all 37 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This initiative aims to generate high-quality data that will support essential healthcare interventions and improve immunization efforts nationwide.

Position: Data Collector

Location: Nationwide (All 36 States of Nigeria and FCT)

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Collector, you will play a vital role in our project. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Data Collection: Participate actively gathering immunization and vaccine-related data from health facility records using digital tools such as ODK.
• Observation & Interviews: Observeization sessions and conduct interviews with service providers while ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
• Reporting Findings: Accurately report your findings within the assigned Local Government Area (LGA) or state.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure are met and project goals are achieved.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of BSc or HND degree.
• At least 2 years of working within the immunization and healthcare sector.
• Prior experience in field data collection projects is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the terrain of your target LGA or state is essential.
• Must own a suitable smartphone with robust internet connectivity to facilitate efficient data entry.
• Proficiency with digital tools likeDK, Kobo Toolbox, or SurveyCTO is necessary; competence in troubleshooting basic technical issues on smartphones is also required. Fluency in English as well as local languages pertinent to your target area is expected.
• A demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, especially regarding informed consent and confidentiality.
• Additionally, candidates must be available throughout the entire data collection period and attend mandatory training before deployment. of participation in similar projects would be an advantage.
