Call for Applications: Black Women in Food Awards 2026

Admin, January 11, 2026January 11, 2026

Nomination Deadline: January 31, 2026

The Black Women in Food Awards 2026 is now open for nominations — a global celebration recognizing the remarkable contributions of Black women shaping the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. The annual awards spotlight the vision, innovation, and leadership of women whose work continues to redefine the global food ecosystem.

Despite their groundbreaking achievements, Black women’s contributions to the culinary world often go underrecognized. The Black Women in Food Awards aim to close this visibility gap by honoring the excellence, creativity, and impact of women who are driving positive change across the food value chain — from farm to table, and from storytelling to innovation.

About the Black Women in Food Awards

This initiative celebrates trailblazers and changemakers whose work influences how the world eats, drinks, and experiences hospitality. The awards amplify their voices, elevate their stories, and affirm their vital role in strengthening global food systems.

Each year, honorees are nominated by the public and carefully selected by a distinguished panel of experts drawn from across the food and beverage industry. The 2026 honorees will be formally recognized at the Black Women in Food Summit, scheduled for April 23–25, 2026 â€” an event that brings together thought leaders, creators, and innovators committed to inclusive representation in food culture.
