Apply Now: Young Leaders for the SDGs

Admin, March 22, 2025March 23, 2025

About the Young Leaders for the SDGs

The Young Leaders for the SDGs initiative highlights outstanding youth driving action toward the Sustainable Development Goals. Selected biennially, 17 individuals collaborate with the UN and partners to advance SDG progress and inspire global youth engagement. Hailing from diverse fields and regions, they advocate for the Goals through relatable storytelling, partnerships, and creative solutions.

During their two-year mandate, they:

  • Promote youth-focused advocacy and amplify the SDGs in accessible ways;
  • Represent youth voices at global forums, including UN events;
  • Mobilize communities through innovative grassroots action;
  • Partner with the UN on key initiatives and campaigns;
  • Uphold integrity and inclusivity in their work.

The program offers a platform to elevate their projects, connects them to UN networks and skill-building resources, and facilitates participation in high-impact events. By uniting changemakers worldwide, it empowers youth-led efforts to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
