The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) has officially launched the 11th Edition of its Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF), inviting youth-led organizations to submit innovative projects that foster peace, promote mutual respect, and encourage cross-cultural understandin7g.

This unique funding opportunity supports initiatives that strengthen interfaith and intercultural dialogue, with a focus on communities affected by conflict or vulnerability. It empowers young leaders to turn visionary ideas into impactful community projects.


About the Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF)

Launched in 2008, the UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund provides both financial and technical support to grassroots youth organizations worldwide. Its work aligns with the core pillars of UNAOC—youth, education, media, migration, and peacebuilding.

Over the years, YSF has funded more than 70 youth-led projects in over 40 countries, enabling young changemakers to bridge cultural divides and foster social cohesion. Beyond funding, the program connects participants to a global network of youth peacebuilders.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Financial Support to bring their project ideas to life.
  • Capacity-Building through training, mentorship, and tailored resources.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a youth-led organization, with leaders and the majority of the team aged 18–35.
  • Be officially registered and operational for at least two years at the local or national level.
  • Be based in a country where youth-led peacebuilding is crucial, especially in conflict-prone or post-conflict regions.
  • Submit a clear, realistic, and time-bound project proposal that:
    • Promotes intercultural or interfaith dialogue.
    • Advances inclusion, peacebuilding, or youth empowerment.
    • Is community-driven and impactful.
