Program Affiliation & CollaborationFellows will join Refugees International as affiliated advocates, working closely with the organization’s team on initiatives such as research reports, opinion articles, policy discussions, and media engagements. Collaborative projects may include advocacy campaigns, participation in international forums, or direct engagement with policymakers to address systemic challenges faced by displaced communities. Learning & SupportParticipants will benefit from: Peer Learning: Exchange ideas with fellow advocates worldwide. Structured Training: Workshops on advocacy strategies, public communication, and leadership development led by experts. Mental Health Resources: Optional access to tailored mental health support, recognizing the unique pressures faced by displaced professionals. EligibilityOpen to advocates globally, with priority consideration given to displaced individuals working in regions aligned with Refugees International’s current priorities. These include areas with urgent advocacy gaps or where the organization is actively engaged. Program Details Duration: August 1, 2025 – July 30, 2026. Funding: Fellows receive a $15,000 stipend disbursed quarterly for dedicating up to seven hours weekly to fellowship activities. Core Program Components Skill Development Workshops: Training in public speaking, advocacy planning, and fundraising. Professional Networking: Connect with global humanitarian leaders and organizations. Collaborative Projects: Partner on advocacy events, field research trips, and international conferences.
