About the I Am Worth GBV Ambassadors Program

The I Am Worth GBV Ambassadors Program is a powerful platform designed to nurture young African leaders passionate about driving social change. Through interactive learning, mentorship, and advocacy training, selected ambassadors will be equipped to address GBV within their local contexts and contribute meaningfully to achieving gender equality across Africa.

This initiative goes beyond leadership training — it creates a continent-wide network of changemakers united by a shared goal: ending GBV and promoting respect for human dignity.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the 2026 Cohort, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be aged 18–35 years and based in Africa.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for gender equality, social justice, and community advocacy.
• Be actively involved in community work, social impact projects, or advocacy initiatives.
• Exhibit creativity, leadership potential, and a commitment to long-term social change.
• Be willing to participate fully in all online and in-person sessions, including the 2026 I Am Worth Summit in Kenya.
