Program Overview

The internship is designed for two categories of young professionals — undergraduates and graduate interns â€” offering each group a practical learning experience aligned with their academic discipline and career goals.

Participants will receive coaching, supervision, and real-world exposure that build industry insight and workplace confidence. With placements available in Lagos and Port Harcourt, interns get the chance to understand how a leading energy company operates across its core business units.

Internship Duration and Structure

The program length depends on the applicant category:

  • Graduate Internship: Up to 12 months of full-time professional experience.
  • Undergraduate Internship: Up to 6 months, or in line with the participant’s university internship requirement.

Both internship tracks are designed to help participants transition smoothly from academic life to professional environments.

Internship Locations

Successful applicants will be assigned to one of Aradel’s key operational hubs in Nigeria:

  • Lagos
  • Port Harcourt

These locations provide immersive exposure to the energy sector, enabling interns to experience the challenges and innovations driving sustainable growth in the industry.

Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Interns

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at a recognized university
  • Be in their 300-level or 400-level of study
  • Have formal approval from their institution for a 2025/2026 internship placement

For Graduate Interns

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or HND (Upper Credit) from a recognized institution
  • Have graduated with at least a Second-Class Upper Division
  • Be no more than one year post-graduation at the time of application
