Whether you’re analyzing data or ensuring its accuracy, your work will directly influence policies that empower communities across the continent. Opportunities for Impact 1. Lead Researcher Who You Are: A seasoned journalist, academic, or researcher with 5+ years of experience in social/economic analysis. Skilled in conducting interviews, desk research, and evaluating governance frameworks (e.g., transparency, gender equity, rural development). Fluent in English or French (depending on target country). Based in the African country under study and independent of government ties. What You’ll Do: Lead fieldwork starting February/March 2025, analyzing 58 governance indicators over 12 weeks. Collaborate with AFIDEP through March 2026 to refine findings.
