Admin, October 4, 2025October 4, 2025

Application Deadline: October 30, 2025

Restoring degraded landscapes—whether farmland, forests, or ecosystems—is critical to addressing climate change, ensuring food security, and building sustainable livelihoods. Across Africa, entrepreneurs are taking bold steps to heal the land, and the AFR100 Land Accelerator Africa Project is backing these efforts with training, funding, and global networks.

This accelerator is designed to empower innovative entrepreneurs who are restoring forests and landscapes while creating economic opportunities for their communities. Through mentorship, financial support, and visibility, selected businesses gain the tools to scale impactful solutions that align with Africa’s development priorities.

Program Benefits

Participants in the AFR100 Land Accelerator enjoy a wealth of resources and opportunities:

  • Innovation Grant: Each of the top 100 selected entrepreneurs receives USD 5,000 to support their restoration initiatives.
  • Cohort-Based Learning: A structured program combining online mentorship, expert-led training, and peer learning.
  • Phase One – Online Sessions: A three-month virtual learning experience that includes weekly sessions to refine strategies and deliverables.
  • Phase Two – In-Person Workshop: A week-long intensive training, culminating in an “Impact Day,” where participants pitch their solutions to stakeholders and potential investors.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connection to a powerful community of restoration entrepreneurs and partners such as the World Resources Institute (WRI), Fledge, and AUDA-NEPAD.

  • Committed to participating in online training and available for travel to the in-person workshop.
  • Youth-led and women-led projects are strongly encouraged to apply, as the program prioritizes inclusive participation.

  • Phase Two: One-week in-person workshop with practical training and networking.
