About the Program The Green Youth Upskilling Program is a capacity-building initiative focused on fostering innovation, technical skills, and entrepreneurship among Nigerian youth. By prioritizing hands-on training and mentorship, the program supports Nigeria’s broader climate and sustainability goals. Who Should Apply The program seeks motivated young changemakers ready to contribute to Nigeria’s green future. Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria: Age: 20 to 35 years Location: Must reside in Lagos State Education: Minimum qualification of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) Interest: No prior experience is required, but a strong interest or informal exposure to green/technical fields—such as solar installations, recycling, or smart agriculture—is a plus. Above all, applicants must demonstrate curiosity, dedication, and a strong desire to learn and create impact. Eligibility Requirements To be considered, applicants must: Be a Nigerian citizen between the ages of 20 and 35 Have completed at least SSCE Demonstrate interest in green or technical fields Be fully available for the entire program duration, including all online and in-person sessions Submit a complete application with supporting documents before the deadline Candidates with previous volunteer experience, internships, or informal work in green/technical fields are encouraged to apply, though this is not mandatory.
