Applications Now Open for The 4th edition Plan International Girls in ICT Quiz/Debate Competition and Digistar Tech Mentorship Programme

As part of our efforts to support and empower girls in Nigeria and in recognition of the rapid advancement of technology and its intersectionality with everyday activities Plan International Nigeria is launching the 4th edition of the Girls in ICT Quiz/Debate Competition and Digistar Tech Mentorship Programme, a two-part initiative designed to raise awareness, stimulate critical thinking, and equip young people with practical digital skills that foster inclusion and innovation.

📚 Interested schools are to have 3 students (2 girls and 1 boy) from SS1 or SS2 to each write an essay on “Bridging the Gap: Can Artificial Intelligence Make Quality Education Accessible in Nigeria?”

The best entries will be shortlisted for an exciting quiz and debate competition in Abuja!

🏆 Winners won’t just walk away with bragging rights, they’ll also earn a spot in the Digistar Tech Mentorship Programme: a 6-month hands-on training in cybersecurity and basic coding led by top tech professionals!
