The Africa Macroeconomic Analysts Program (AMAP) has officially opened its call for applications for the 2025 cohort. The Africa Macroeconomic Analysts Program (AMAP) is a rigorous and highly selective capacity-building initiative that targets final-year undergraduate students and recent graduates in economics and related disciplines. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the 2025 AMAP cohort, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a citizen of Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Rwanda, Kenya, Zambia, or South Africa.
  • Must be a final-year undergraduate student or a recent graduate in Economics, Political Science, International Relations, or related social science fields.
  • Must have obtained a First-Class or Second-Class Upper (2:1) degree. Exceptional Second-Class Lower (2:2) candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
