Since its selection by DAAD in 2015, the program has provided two key funding options: Germany Scholarships – These scholarships support two MA students and one PhD student to help cover costs during their study period in Leipzig, Germany. Sur-Place Scholarships – These grants assist students with expenses during their time in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, reducing the overall tuition fees for one academic term. Who Can Apply? MA Program Eligibility The MA program is open to highly motivated students who have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree in the following fields: Social Sciences Political Science History International Relations Law Humanities Economics Applicants should have a strong academic record (good or excellent results) and a keen interest in global affairs, peace, and security studies. PhD Program Eligibility Candidates for the PhD program must have completed their Master’s degree with outstanding results in one of the fields mentioned above.
