The Z Zurich Foundation, in collaboration with One Young World, is offering an exceptional opportunity for 25 young leaders through its 2025 Scholarship Program. This initiative supports individuals leading projects in mental well-being, climate resilience, or social equity, providing them with a global platform to amplify their impact. About the Z Zurich Foundation The Z Zurich Foundation is dedicated to building brighter futures for vulnerable communities, focusing on three key pillars: Adapting to Climate Change: Implementing strategies to help communities adjust and become more resilient to evolving climate conditions. Improving Mental Well-Being: Promoting mental health initiatives that address challenges proactively. Enabling Social Equity: Breaking down barriers to education, employment, and entrepreneurship, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Focus Areas of the Scholarship This scholarship supports young leaders actively engaged in grassroots initiatives within the following domains: Adapting to Climate Change: Projects that help communities adjust to climate variations and strengthen resilience by transforming behaviors and systems to mitigate climate-related risks. Improving Mental Well-Being: Initiatives focused on youth mental health, creating supportive environments, and identifying risk factors for mental health conditions. Enabling Social Equity: Efforts to remove obstacles to education, employment, and entrepreneurship by providing resources, knowledge, and skills to unlock potential. Scholarship Benefits Selected scholars will receive: Summit Participation: Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, from November 3 to 6. Additional Programming: Engagement in pre- and post-Summit scholarship activities organized by the Z Zurich Foundation, including an impact-focused development day. Accommodation: Hotel stay in Munich from November 1 to 6. Travel: Round-trip airfare to Munich. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the Summit. Local Transportation: Ground transfers between Summit venues in Munich. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must: Be aged 18 to 30 at the time of the Summit. Demonstrate a passion for addressing local and global issues. Show a proven commitment to driving positive change. Be willing to engage and collaborate with fellow scholars and Zurich Insurance Group employees attending the Summit.
