WanaData Fellowship: Amplifying Youth Voices in Digital Spaces (Cohort 2) Admin, December 26, 2025December 26, 2025 Code for Africa (CfA) is inviting applications for a paid fellowship programme designed for young African data practitioners and storytellers. The programme supports initiatives that elevate youth perspectives and encourage safer, more inclusive digital environments, with a strong focus on gender-related work. The fellowship is delivered through a collaborative effort involving Code for Africa alongside several regional and international partners, including organisations working in democracy, civic engagement, media development, and youth leadership. Operating under the WanaData Initiative, the programme seeks to close information and storytelling gaps around gender-focused digital issues. Key areas of interest include cybersecurity and data protection frameworks, digital participation in democratic processes, online activism, social movements, freedom of expression, human rights, and SDG 16, particularly within the Sahel, West Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
