HP’s Digital Equity Accelerator Program is back for 2025, offering a unique opportunity for nonprofits focused on advancing digital inclusion. This year, the program aims to support organizations in Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain, helping them expand their reach and impact. Selected participants will receive a generous package of resources, including USD $100,000 in unrestricted grant funding, HP technology worth approximately USD $100,000, and a comprehensive six-month virtual program. This program includes training, mentorship, and technical consultations to build organizational capacity and drive greater digital equity.
What is the Digital Equity Accelerator Program?
The HP Digital Equity Accelerator Program is designed to empower nonprofit organizations working to bridge the digital divide. By equipping nonprofits with the tools, resources, and knowledge to scale their efforts, this program aims to drive sustainable, long-term change. Since its launch in 2022, the program has supported 27 organizations across nine countries, helping them reach over 8.1 million individuals.
In 2025, the focus will be on supporting organizations in Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain. By fostering digital inclusion, the program hopes to create more equitable access to education and economic opportunities, particularly for historically marginalized groups.
Program Benefits
Selected nonprofits will receive the following benefits:
- USD $100,000 Unrestricted Grant: Financial support to help scale your digital equity initiatives.
- HP Technology: Technology resources valued at approximately USD $100,000 to enhance organizational capacity.
- Six-Month Virtual Program: Training, mentorship, and technical consultation to strengthen your organization’s ability to deliver impactful digital equity programs.
The program also includes guidance on how to better engage communities, improve digital skills, and maximize your nonprofit’s impact in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the HP Digital Equity Accelerator, your organization must:
- Be a legally registered not-for-profit entity.
- Be capable of receiving funding from a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organization.
- Primarily serve communities in Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, or Spain.
- Focus on advancing inclusive access to education and economic opportunities, especially for disconnected youth and adults.
- Currently engage with at least 10,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries through your initiatives.
- Be able to assign a primary contact fluent in English (note that all program communications will be in English).
The program is particularly relevant in today’s rapidly changing digital landscape, where the rise of generative AI and digital advancements risk leaving behind those without adequate digital skills, exacerbating the digital divide.
