Access to assistive technology (AT) is essential to ensuring equal opportunities for people with disabilities and those who need support. To advance this cause, ATscale, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), has launched the Small Grants Programme for World Day for Assistive Technology. This initiative provides funding to support organizations working to raise awareness and expand access to assistive technology worldwide.
About the Small Grants Programme
The Small Grants Programme aims to empower civil society organizations, advocacy groups, and nonprofits dedicated to increasing awareness of assistive technology. This programme builds on previous successful initiatives, like the Unlock the Everyday campaign, to drive global recognition of AT’s vital role in improving lives.
The focus of the programme will be on supporting both national-level events and global digital media campaigns. These efforts aim to unite organizations, policymakers, businesses, and individuals to promote accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.
