About the Role The Project Analyst will support the operational implementation of various environmental sustainability projects, particularly those related to nature finance and biodiversity conservation. The role involves working closely with the private sector, NGOs, and UNDP country offices to drive impactful change in conservation efforts. Key projects include the Tiger Landscapes Investment Fund (TLIF) and initiatives under the Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and the Biodiversity Credit Alliance (BCA). The successful candidate will play a critical role in project administration, financial management, and stakeholder coordination. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing project operations, including budgeting and work planning. Coordinate with project managers, partners, and country offices to ensure smooth implementation. Oversee financial reporting, budget revisions, and compliance with UNDP policies. Support donor reporting and ensure adherence to financial and administrative guidelines. Organize events, workshops, and meetings related to the program’s objectives. Track project performance and propose corrective actions where necessary. Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices documentation. Who Can Apply? The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience. Those with a Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience are also eligible. Areas of expertise should include project management, finance, international development, or related fields. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Spanish and/or French is an added advantage. Required Skills and Experience Experience managing multi-partner projects at national or global levels. Strong budget monitoring and financial analysis capabilities. Ability to handle administrative tasks related to donor-funded projects. Familiarity with UNDP’s financial and procurement systems is an asset. Experience in environmental policy or nature finance is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
