About the Fellowship

Through a blend of online learning, mentorship, and applied research, fellows develop a strong foundation in:

  • Evidence generation and analysis
  • Research synthesis and translation

Participants will complete selected coursework through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH) and receive continuous mentorship from CGWHGE faculty. Fellows will also undertake a mini research or evidence project, such as secondary data analysis or evidence synthesis, aligned with their professional or academic interests.

While most fellowship activities are conducted virtually, participants will attend at least one in-person cohort convening during the program year to strengthen networking, collaboration, and peer learning.

Time Commitment

The fellowship is designed to be flexible and accessible for working professionals:

  • Average of 10 hours per week
  • Up to 20 hours per week during intensive coursework periods
  • Additional time required for travel related to in-person sessions
