Between March and May 2026, SDSN Youth will host twelve regional consultations designed to elevate youth voices in shaping the global sustainability agenda. About the Program A Youth Vision for the World’s Future is an ambitious youth-led project launched by SDSN Youth — the youth division of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, established under former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. With the Ford Foundation’s support, the initiative seeks to amplify youth perspectives on critical global priorities. Through structured regional dialogues, the project will gather insights from young leaders, activists, entrepreneurs, and innovators worldwide to inform policy discussions that shape the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The consultations will focus on three interlinked themes: Gender Equality: Empowering women and girls, addressing systemic barriers, and reimagining inclusive leadership. Climate Change: Centering youth voices in adaptation, mitigation, and climate justice. Future of Work: Exploring the evolving job landscape, digital transformation, and equitable opportunities in a rapidly changing economy. After these dialogues, SDSN Youth will publish a Global Youth Synthesis Report — summarizing findings, aspirations, and concrete policy recommendations to be presented to UN Member States, civil society organizations, and academia during major multilateral forums.
