The “Nigerian Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme (NIYEEDEP)” was formed out of the existing need to squarely address Nigeria’s overwhelming problems of high youth unemployment, youth economic underutilization, youth poverty and their consequences of low economic development, household poverty, radicalization and insecurity
This Landmark initiative under the NIYEEDEP, is designed to improve youth economic engagement, aid young people in agric related ventures and promote the actualization of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s food security agenda.
The Programme seeks to create 6 million direct jobs in 2025 within the agric related sector of the economy, contributing to household poverty alleviation, food security, mass employment generation, youth deradicalization and national stability

A timely intervention designed to address food insecurity and acute hunger in Nigeria, preventing potential unrest caused by economic hardship. It also aims to curb youth restiveness, safeguarding the country’s political stability and security.
