Call for Applications: Field Enumerator for Learning and Adaptation Field Study. Admin, February 13, 2025February 13, 2025 Background The Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) initiative aims to foster data-driven, community-focused program implementation in Nigeria. As part of this initiative, we will conduct a Learning and Adaptation Field Study across Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, and Sokoto States. This study’s objective is to gather valuable insights, engage with stakeholders, assess the effectiveness of current interventions, and refine strategies to meet the evolving needs of the community. To facilitate this data collection process, we are looking for qualified Field Enumerators to help gather both qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of stakeholders, including community members, government officials, civil society organizations, and other relevant entities. Scope of Work Selected Enumerators will be tasked with the following responsibilities: Conducting surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with community members and stakeholders. Collecting and recording data accurately using structured tools and methodologies. Upholding ethical standards and ensuring confidentiality throughout the data collection process. Collaborating with the research team to ensure the quality of the data collected. Participating in preparatory training sessions on data collection methodologies and tools. Assisting in organizing stakeholder engagement sessions as required. Providing regular updates and timely submission of completed data collection forms. Duration The field visits are scheduled to occur over 10 days in Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, and Sokoto States. Qualifications and Experience We invite applications from individuals who meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field. Prior experience in data collection, field research, or monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage respectfully with diverse community members and stakeholders. Proficiency in local languages spoken within the target states is preferred. Familiarity with digital data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK, or similar platforms) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining rigorous data quality standards.
