About the Opportunity Collaboration Fellowship The OC Fellowship opens doors to a powerful global network of changemakers. It offers Fellows the opportunity to engage deeply with peers, mentors, and sector experts in a collaborative environment that encourages learning, growth, and partnership. Who Can Apply The Fellowship is designed for high-impact, innovative leaders in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors who are committed to social justice and poverty alleviation. Applicants should demonstrate a strong record of leadership, adaptive problem-solving, and community impact. Eligible individuals must: Be innovative leaders driving solutions to poverty through business or nonprofit initiatives. Not have attended a previous OC in-person summit. Be available to attend OC Sunrise & OC2026, scheduled for November 2–6, 2026, in Albufeira, Portugal (arrival on November 1). Be able to participate in programs conducted primarily in English. Eligible organizations must: Be actively addressing poverty with at least one year of operational experience. Have a total annual budget under $1 million USD. Maintain an active web or social media presence. Have no prior organizational representatives who attended an in-person OC summit. Fellowship Benefits The OC Fellowship provides a comprehensive package of benefits designed to maximize the impact of participation: Full or partial award coverage depending on country of origin: Non-OECD countries: $2,890 award (fully covering registration), plus a refundable $295 admin fee. OECD countries: $1,895 award (partially covering registration), plus a $995 registration fee. All-inclusive accommodations for 5 nights and 4 days, including meals, internet access, and resort amenities. Leadership and capacity-building sessions led by experts and practitioners. Networking concierge services connecting Fellows with hundreds of global leaders. Opportunities to facilitate discussions, share success stories, and explore partnerships. Transport to and from Faro International Airport (FAO). What Fellows Are Expected to Contribute Fellows are expected to come prepared to share ideas, collaborate with peers, and offer insights that advance collective learning and social impact. While OC provides extensive support, Fellows are responsible for covering their roundtrip airfare and securing all necessary travel documents (visas, authorizations, etc.). The OC team provides formal invitation letters to assist with visa applications. Timeline Overview: December 18, 2025 – February 16, 2026: Application period open. February 17 – March 24, 2026: Selection process. By April 17, 2026: Invitations sent to selected Fellows.
