What is the Purpose Earth Grant? Purpose Earth is a grant and mentorship program designed to uplift bold ideas with real potential to solve global challenges. The initiative supports people and organizations that are pioneering creative, sustainable solutions within their communities and beyond. Each selected project receives $10,000 in seed funding, along with expert mentorship to guide its development and execution. This program goes beyond funding—it fosters a movement of visionaries ready to co-create a world that works for everyone. Areas of Focus Purpose Earth supports initiatives in the following impact areas: 1. Environmental ProtectionProjects that mitigate environmental degradation, restore or protect natural resources, or address climate change. 2. Community ActivationPrograms that foster thriving, inclusive communities, empowering individuals and groups to engage in positive, transformative change. 3. Cultural CollaborationInitiatives that promote creativity, compassion, and collaboration across different cultures, strengthening shared values through artistic or educational expression. Funding & Eligibility Each awarded project receives a one-time $10,000 grant. Applications requesting more than this amount will not be considered. Projects should demonstrate: Sustainability beyond initial grant funding Alignment with one or more of Purpose Earth’s focus areas A clear project timeline and plan for development, implementation, and impact Leadership experience and qualifications of the applicant(s) Innovation, creativity, and practical solutions rooted in real community needs Please note: The grant does not cover salaries, consultant fees, travel, sponsorships, or capital campaigns. Ineligible Countries Due to legal and international restrictions, individuals and organizations from the following countries are not eligible to apply: Balkans, Burma, Iraq, Iran, Russia, Yemen, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, West Bank, Ethiopia, Sudan, DR Congo (Republic of Congo is eligible), Libya, Mali, and Venezuela. Application Requirements To be considered, applicants must submit the following: 1. A Professional Reference LetterThis letter must be written and dated within the last 12 months by someone with whom the applicant has had a professional relationship. It should confirm both the applicant’s qualifications and the legitimacy of the project. 2. A 1-Minute YouTube VideoApplicants must upload a short video creatively explaining the project’s purpose, impact, and how the Purpose Earth grant would support their work. The video must be publicly accessible, not set to private. Applications with inaccessible videos will be disqualified.
