Fellowship Overview Running from June 15 to August 29, 2025, this fellowship requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week and provides a $3,000 stipend with a flexible payment schedule. Fellows will engage in impactful projects that advance climate justice and digital equity while collaborating with leading experts and interdisciplinary teams. Key Project Areas Fellows will spearhead one major project while contributing to additional initiatives within the program. The available project tracks include: The Editor // GLITCH Digital Zine Lead the development of the annual publication focusing on environmental justice in technology. Curate and craft compelling narratives exploring the intersection of climate activism and digital innovation. Oversee design, layout, and publication in both digital and print formats. The Researcher // Data Governance & Climate Justice Investigate the role of digital misinformation in climate justice. Contribute to groundbreaking research on equitable data infrastructures. Work under the mentorship of renowned scholar Dr. Benedetta Brevini. The Educator // Digital Educational Materials Develop interactive climate justice and coding workshops using platforms like Jupyter Notebook and Google CoLab. Create educational materials for diverse audiences, including general learners and academic institutions. Design digital mapping and engaging interactive activities. The Creative // Creative & Cultural Interventions Develop innovative and artistic ways to engage audiences in environmental justice and technology. Collaborate with artists, writers, and technologists on interdisciplinary projects. Organize community events or online experiences to showcase creative interventions. Eligibility Criteria This fellowship is open to applicants from all countries who meet the following qualifications: A demonstrated interest in environmental justice, gained through community involvement, personal experience, or academic study. Strong writing and communication skills. Excellent self-management and project planning abilities, with the capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
