This free virtual training aims to equip African youth, especially women, with digital, entrepreneurial, and financial literacy skills—essential tools for personal growth and career advancement in today’s digital economy. Under the theme “AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship”, the program is designed to close the gender gap in education and skills acquisition across Africa and the Diaspora. About the Training Program The AU CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2025 focuses on building the skills of young African men and women through gender-responsive educational approaches. It particularly targets those passionate about promoting gender equality in and through education, especially in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and financial empowerment. The training also aims to strengthen the capacity of women teachers to effectively deliver digital literacy and STEAM-related content, which is vital in advancing equitable education systems across Africa. Who Should Apply? This opportunity is open to individuals who meet the following criteria: Must be African men or women, including those living in the African Diaspora. Must demonstrate strong motivation to learn and develop digital, entrepreneurial, and financial literacy skills. Should show leadership potential and a commitment to advancing girls’ and women’s education. Must have access to a stable internet connection and a digital device (computer, tablet, or smartphone). Must understand at least one of the training languages: English, French, or Portuguese. Open to African citizens, whether residing on the continent or abroad.
