Admin, January 17, 2026January 17, 2026

Application Deadline: March 15, 2026

Applications are now open for the NUS Young Fellowship Programme 2026, an exceptional opportunity for ambitious young scholars to experience academic excellence at one of Asia’s top universities — the National University of Singapore (NUS). This immersive month-long fellowship brings together talented students from across the globe to explore cutting-edge research, innovation, and the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in graduate studies.

Set to take place in June–July 2026, the fellowship blends in-person learning with virtual tutorials, offering participants the rare chance to interact with NUS professors, researchers, and like-minded peers from around the world. More than just a summer program, the NUS Young Fellowship is a launchpad for future researchers, innovators, and changemakers.

For students passionate about advancing their academic journey, especially in the rapidly evolving field of AI, this program represents a transformative gateway to global exposure, research mentorship, and postgraduate opportunities at NUS.

In a time when AI is reshaping industries and redefining the skills of tomorrow, the NUS Young Fellowship Programme 2026 provides the perfect environment for emerging leaders to understand how technology, research, and human creativity intersect to build the future.

About the NUS Young Fellowship Programme 2026

The NUS Young Fellowship Programme (NYFP) is organized by the NUS Graduate School in partnership with the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE). Since its inception, the fellowship has aimed to inspire promising young scholars to pursue advanced studies and research careers.

The 2026 edition will focus on the theme “AI and Graduate Research”, reflecting NUS’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning and innovation. Participants will engage in a month-long hybrid experience — combining one week of on-campus learning in Singapore and three weeks of online tutorials — designed to deepen their understanding of AI applications across various research disciplines.

During the in-person sessions, fellows will explore NUS’s state-of-the-art research labs, attend interactive lectures, and visit iconic Singaporean landmarks. The online component extends this learning through virtual collaborations, project presentations, and faculty-guided research discussions.

This structure ensures that every participant gains not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on experience and cross-cultural exposure — key ingredients for any future academic or research pursuit.
