Available Fellowships for 2025

F-Prime offers three specialized summer fellowships designed for high-caliber students and professionals eager to gain real-world investment experience:

1. Life Sciences Summer Fellowship

Location: Boston or London
Who Can Apply:

  • Current MD and/or PhD candidates or postdoctoral fellows
  • Individuals passionate about life sciences, biotech, and venture capital
  • Applicants must be able to work in-person or hybrid from Boston or London

What Fellows Will Do:

  • Conduct scientific diligence, including literature reviews and primary research
  • Develop investment theses in high-priority scientific areas
  • Work closely with F-Prime’s Investment Team on venture capital strategies

Compensation: A stipend will be provided.

2. Healthcare IT & Services (HITS) Summer Fellowship

Location: Boston
Who Can Apply:

  • Current MBA candidates with an interest in healthcare and technology
  • Applicants must be able to work in-person or hybrid from Boston

What Fellows Will Do:

  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate early-stage healthcare startups
  • Assess companies for their differentiation and investment potential
  • Develop investment strategies for both new and existing portfolio companies
  • Participate in meetings with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts

Compensation: A stipend will be provided.

3. Crypto Summer Fellowship

Location: Boston
Who Can Apply:

  • Current undergraduate or MBA students passionate about crypto and venture capital
  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of crypto fundamentals, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Web3, and digital assets
  • Applicants must be able to work in-person or hybrid from Boston

What Fellows Will Do:

  • Conduct due diligence, business strategy, and market analysis for emerging crypto startups
  • Develop investment theses in the evolving crypto landscape
  • Support both new investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies

Compensation: A stipend will be provided.

Bonus: Applicants who highlight an early-stage crypto project they find compelling will receive extra consideration.
