This opportunity is exclusively available to indigenous students of the North-West geopolitical zone, which includes the following states:

Jigawa
Kaduna
Kano
Katsina
Kebbi
Sokoto
Zamfara

Whether you’re fresh out of secondary school or already hold a Master’s degree, there’s a scholarship track designed for you.

Fields of Study Covered

The scholarship is open to candidates pursuing degrees in fields critical to the development of the region:

Engineering
Medical Sciences
Agriculture
Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
Education

Scholarship Levels & Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Applicants
Must be aged 22 years or younger
Distinction in three core science subjects
Minimum of five credits in O’Level results (in no more than two sittings)

Master’s Degree Applicants
Maximum age: 35 years
Minimum CGPA of 3.8 on a 5.0 scale in undergraduate studies

Ph.D. Applicants
Maximum age: 40 years
Minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale in Master’s program
