Accelerator Fellowship Programme: Applications Now Open Admin, December 31, 2025December 31, 2025 The University of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics in AI invites applications for its Accelerator Fellowship Programme, focused on tackling key ethical issues in artificial intelligence via interdisciplinary and practical approaches. Projects should align with one of these themes: AI and Creativity AI in Care, Mental Health, and Healthcare AI and Humanity AI, Law, and Policy We encourage proposals that foster partnerships between academia, industry, policy, and other sectors for tangible impact. Who Should Apply?Established professionals or academics from any field, with an ongoing role in academia, non-profits, industry, or equivalent experience engaging with AI’s challenges and opportunities. Ideal candidates are: Dedicated to responsible and ethical AI development Focused on real-world outcomes Enthusiastic about interdisciplinary collaboration Open worldwide; English proficiency required. Eligibility Master’s degree or equivalent (e.g., 5+ years in a relevant field) Project fits the programme’s ethical AI focus Benefits £2,000 monthly stipend (for living/travel expenses) Potential additional funding for events, workshops, or exhibitions (include proposal if needed) Access to Oxford networks, researchers, seminars, and events Enhanced visibility and collaboration opportunities Flexible format: remote (with optional short visits) or in-person stays in Oxford (up to 6 months, subject to visa eligibility) Fellowships last 6 or 12 months, starting from late February 2026 (remote) or term-aligned dates (in-person).
