About the 100x Impact Accelerator

The 100x Impact Accelerator, hosted at the London School of Economics (LSE), is designed to identify and support the next generation of “social unicorns.” These are ventures committed to delivering measurable social or environmental change at a scale that impacts millions of people worldwide.

Successful applicants will join a cohort of changemakers who are not only driven by strong mission alignment but also equipped with strategies to achieve systems-level transformation. Whether through government adoption, market transformation, open infrastructure, or digital innovation, the programme nurtures ventures with the ambition and capacity to influence large-scale change.

  • £150,000 catalytic funding to scale their initiatives.

The programme is committed to diversity and inclusivity, with a target for 70% of its portfolio to come from emerging markets. Special consideration is also given to female-led ventures and organisations deeply rooted in the communities they serve.

Eligibility Criteria

The accelerator welcomes both nonprofit and for-profit organisations that are impact-first. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of traction and potential for scale. Preference will be given to ventures that meet the following benchmarks:

  • Reached at least 50,000 direct users or indirectly impacted 500,000 people.
  • Raised a minimum of USD 250,000 in capital.
  • Built a core team of four or more full-time staff members.
  • Established partnerships with governments, NGOs, or private sector stakeholders.

These criteria reflect 100x’s vision of supporting organisations that have already proven their models and are now positioned for exponential growth.
