2025 AI Empowerment Program for Civil Society in Nigeria, Apply Now! Admin, July 24, 2025July 24, 2025 The Nigerian AI Alliance invites civil society organizations (CSOs) across Nigeria to apply for a six-month capacity-building initiative focused on AI literacy, advocacy, and responsible governance. This program, facilitated by the Centre for Media Innovation and Development (CMID) in partnership with Luminate, aims to strengthen civil society’s role in shaping ethical and inclusive AI practices. Eligibility Open to registered Nigerian CSOs, nonprofits, and advocacy groups working in: Technology & Governance – Organizations engaged in AI policy, digital rights, or ethical AI frameworks. AI Innovation – Groups developing or integrating AI tools to advance their mission. Capacity Building – CSOs seeking to expand AI knowledge for advocacy, accountability, or public engagement. Community Impact – Organizations with a history of digital advocacy or civic innovation looking to leverage AI for social good. Project Concept (1 page) – Outline a proposed AI advocacy or innovation initiative. Past Work Samples – Links to relevant tech, policy, or digital rights projects.
